Friends United

The Friends United Initiative was founded in the spirit of reconciliation 20 years ago and offers Indigenous artists the opportunity to live, create and display their artwork on-site in Cape Breton. The styles of art includes paintings, totem poles, masks, paddles, knives, sculptures, etc. The Friends United facility houses one of the largest North American Indigenous art collections in the world. Friends United has recently become a not-for-profit and has applied for foundation status.
